L'Iris is a warm and charming Périgord cottage, a great base for exploring the area or unwinding by simply enjoying the peace and quiet.

The living area exudes authenticity: soft yellow natural stone, old beams and an inviting sitting area, equipped with a TV with French and English channels.

The village boasts La Merenda restaurant, renowned for its local cuisine and excellent pizzas. The area also offers a wide selection of other restaurants, each tempting to try – but a home-cooked meal is also easy to prepare. A gas barbecue is available on the terrace, or you can cook in the fully equipped kitchen, which includes:

• Refrigerator with freezer compartment

• Dishwasher

The bedroom (bed 150x200) with exposed oak beams is located on the first floor, where air conditioning provides cooling on the hottest days. The shower and toilet are in a separate enclosed space; the sink, as is often the case in this type of old house, is located in the bedroom itself.

Outside, under the wisteria, the private terrace with table and chairs offers a sheltered spot. A short path winds down to the pool.

All the gîtes at Domaine Le Jardin Des Amis in Meyrals share access to the heated, fenced swimming pool (seasonal), the expansive grounds, and the surrounding forest. Each property has its own unique atmosphere, charm, and comfort – a place in the heart of the Périgord Noir where children can play freely and explore, while adults relax.
