The Anemone – spacious holiday home for 8 people

A spacious and light holiday home in the Dordogne, divided over three floors – ideal for those who want to enjoy space, comfort, privacy and the peace of the French countryside.

The Anemone is our largest holiday home. On the ground floor there is an open living space with plenty of light, sliding doors that lead out to a terrace, a large dining table, a seating area and a wood stove for cooler months. 

In the village, within walking distance, is restaurant La Merenda, known for its local cuisine and excellent pizzas. The region also offers a wide range of other restaurants, each one tempting to try – but a self-prepared meal is easily realized. On the terrace there is a gas barbecue ready, or cooking can be done in the fully equipped kitchen with among others:
• Oven and hob (Neff)
• Microwave
• American refrigerator with freezer compartment
• Dishwasher 

The first floor has two twin bedrooms (without air conditioning) (bed 160x200 + 180x200) which share a bathroom with walk-in shower and toilet.

The third (family) room on the second floor is very spacious and with visible beams, very cozy. This room has air conditioning, a double bed (150x200), two single beds (90x190) and a bathroom with walk-in shower and toilet.

There are two terraces: one in the morning sun with large table and gas barbecue, the other catches the afternoon sun and is a lovely place to dine long into the evening. The pool is located just behind the house.

All gîtes of Domaine Le Jardin Des Amis in Meyrals have access to the heated, fenced pool (seasonal), the extensive grounds and the surrounding forest. Each home has its own atmosphere, charm and comfort – a place in the heart of the Périgord Noir where children can play freely and go on discovery, while adults come to rest.
