La Violette is a bright and comfortable gîte on the ground floor of a characteristic 19th‑century farm barn, with contemporary décor and a spacious private terrace. The terrace is quiet and sheltered – a lovely place to sit outside in complete privacy.

Outdoor living
The spacious private terrace is one of the great assets of La Violette. At the dining table you enjoy the open view over the hills and the walnut orchard. The comfortable lounge set is placed somewhat sheltered, so you can relax here in peace. With a parasol for shade and a gas barbecue within reach, this is a wonderful spot for long summer evenings.

The fully equipped kitchen makes it easy to cook yourself, including:

In the village there is the restaurant La Merenda, known for the local cuisine and excellent pizzas. In addition, the region offers a wide choice of restaurants where you can discover the gastronomy of the Périgord Noir.

Location on the estate
La Violette is located on the ground floor of the old farm barn and has its own entrance and private terrace. The owners of the estate live in the upper part of the barn, with a separate entrance on the opposite side of the building. Thanks to the layout of the building and the position of the terrace, guests can enjoy their stay here in complete peace and privacy, while assistance or tips about the area are always nearby when desired.

The estate
All gîtes of Domaine Le Jardin des Amis in Meyrals share access to the heated, fenced pool (seasonal), the extensive grounds and the surrounding forest.

Each gîte has its own atmosphere and character, but all offer the same peace and space of the estate – a place in the heart of the Périgord Noir where children can play freely and explore, while adults enjoy the nature, the view and the relaxed ambiance.
