The Violet

La Violette is a bright and comfortable holiday home on the ground floor of a characteristic 19th-century barn. The home is modernly furnished and features a spacious private terrace. The terrace is quietly situated and sheltered – a lovely spot to enjoy the outdoors in complete privacy.

Layout

The master bedroom features an extra-comfortable queen-size bed (160 × 210 cm), ideal for taller guests. Additionally, it includes an en-suite bathroom with a walk-in shower and toilet, a sofa bed, a television, and French doors opening onto the terrace.

The second bedroom is furnished with a double bed (140 × 190 cm) and also offers direct access to the terrace.

Between the two bedrooms is the central living area with a cozy seating and dining area. Here you will find a high breakfast bar, a comfortable seating area with a smart TV (French channels and streaming services), and the second bathroom with a walk-in shower and toilet.

Outdoor Living

The spacious private terrace is one of La Violette's greatest assets. At the dining table, you can enjoy an unobstructed view of the rolling hills and the walnut orchard. The comfortable lounge set is situated in a sheltered spot, allowing you to relax in peace. With the parasol for shade and the gas barbecue within easy reach, this is the perfect spot for long summer evenings.

Kitchen

The fully equipped kitchen makes it easy to prepare delicious meals yourself and includes, among other things:

• Hob and oven

• Microwave

In the village, you will find restaurant La Merenda, known for its regional dishes and excellent pizzas. Additionally, the surrounding area offers a wide selection of restaurants where you can discover the gastronomy of the Périgord Noir.

Location on the estate

La Violette is situated on the ground floor of the former barn and features a private entrance and terrace. The owners of the estate live on the upper floor of the barn and have a completely separate entrance on the other side of the building. Thanks to this layout, guests can enjoy their stay in peace and privacy, while help or advice about the surrounding area is always close at hand if desired.

The Estate

All gîtes at Domaine Le Jardin des Amis in Meyrals share access to the heated and fenced swimming pool (seasonal), the vast estate, and the surrounding forest.
