L'Iris is a charming Périgord cottage, an ideal base for exploring the region or simply enjoying peace and relaxation.

The living area exudes authenticity thanks to its soft yellow natural stone walls, old wooden beams and a cosy seating area with a TV with French and English channels.

In the village you will find restaurant La Merenda, known for its regional dishes and delicious pizzas. The area also offers a wide choice of excellent restaurants. Prefer to cook yourself? That is easy in the fully equipped kitchen or on the gas barbecue on the terrace.

The kitchen is equipped with:

The bedroom (bed 150 × 200 cm) is on the first floor and has beautiful oak beams. Thanks to the air conditioning, the room stays pleasantly cool even on hot summer days. The shower and toilet are in a separate, enclosed room. As is often the case in historic houses like this, the washbasin is in the bedroom itself.

Outside, the private terrace beneath the wisteria offers a lovely shady spot to relax. The terrace is furnished with a table, chairs and a gas barbecue. A small path leads to the swimming pool.

Each property has its own unique atmosphere, charm and comfort – a wonderful place in the heart of the Périgord Noir where children can play and explore freely while adults enjoy peace and nature.

• Tourist tax: Under French law we are required to charge a tourist tax of 3.3% per booking for all guests aged 18 and over.

• Final cleaning: To ensure a carefree stay and a spotless experience, a final cleaning is mandatory. For gîte L'Iris this costs €40.
