La Violette is a bright and comfortable holiday home on the ground floor of a characterful 19th-century farm barn. It is furnished in a modern style and has a spacious private terrace. The terrace is quiet and sheltered – a wonderful place to enjoy outdoor living in complete privacy.

Layout

The main bedroom has an extra-long queen-size bed (160 × 210 cm). It also has an en-suite bathroom with walk-in shower and toilet, a sofa bed (made up on request and not recommended for adults), a TV and French doors opening onto the terrace.

The second bedroom has a bunk bed (140 × 200 cm / 90 × 200 cm) and also has direct access to the terrace.

Between the two bedrooms is the central living area with a cosy seating and dining area. Here you will find a high dining table, a comfortable seating area with smart TV (French channels and streaming services) and the second bathroom with walk-in shower and toilet.

Outdoor living

The spacious private terrace is one of La Violette’s greatest assets. From the dining table you enjoy an open view over the rolling hills and the walnut orchard. The comfortable lounge set is in a sheltered spot, so you can relax in complete peace. With the parasol for shade and the gas barbecue close at hand, this is the perfect place for long summer evenings.

The fully equipped kitchen makes it easy to prepare delicious meals yourself and includes:

In the village you will find restaurant La Merenda, known for its regional dishes and excellent pizzas. The area also offers a wide choice of restaurants where you can discover the gastronomy of the Périgord Noir.

Location on the estate

La Violette is on the ground floor of the former farm barn and has its own entrance and private terrace. The owners of the estate live on the upper floor of the barn and have a completely separate entrance on the other side of the building. Thanks to this layout, guests can enjoy their stay in peace and privacy, while help or advice about the area is always close at hand when needed.

The estate

All gîtes of Domaine Le Jardin des Amis in Meyrals share access to the heated, fenced swimming pool (seasonal), the extensive estate and the surrounding woods.

Each holiday home has its own atmosphere and character, but all offer the same peace, space and hospitality. A wonderful place in the heart of the Périgord Noir, where children can play and explore freely while adults enjoy nature, the views and a relaxing holiday.
